Safeguarding Policies

The LTA have recently launched a new initiative that aims, by 2020, for British Tennis to be at the forefront of safeguarding in sport, which we as a club are hugely supportive of and required to comply with. At Claygate, we have policies and guidelines for all members, committee members, volunteers, coaches and visitors which you can find here:

The safety of all children and adults at risk is our number one priority. Should you have any questions or concerns with regards to safeguarding, please contact our welfare officer, Laura Mitchell-Innes on or 07812752043.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility: not responding to a safeguarding concern is not an option. Failure to comply with the attached policies may result in disciplinary action leading to possible exclusion from our club, dismissal and legal action.
